The Shawano Athletic Booster Club is a proud sponsor of the Shawano Hawks Athletic Program. The primary mission of the Booster Club is to generate funds to support projects to enhance the experiences of Shawano Community High School student-athletes. Since it's inception, the SABC has provided over $750,000 of support to our athletic teams. Examples of projects recently supported include the purchase of team warm-ups and travel bags for the wresting team, funds to support a new logo on the Sacred Heart gym floor, the purchase of tumbling equipment for the cheerleading team, and the purchase of warm-ups for the hockey team. The SABC provides six scholarships each year for the Martzke Dedicated Athlete, Athlete of the Year, and Scholar Athlete of the Year award recipients. The Booster Club is currently working with the School Board to assist in providing funding for a new weight room. The club has two major fundraisers each year, including a spring Jamboree and a food stand at the Shawano County Fair.
