Our LEADS 4K-2nd graders had an amazing experience at Sturgeon Park! They observed sturgeon up close and watched as Wisconsin DNR staff tagged these incredible fish as part of ongoing conservation efforts.
Students also learned about the cultural importance of the sturgeon to the Menominee Tribe, gaining a deeper understanding of how nature, science and tradition are all connected.
