School Performance
The state's Department of Public Instruction (DPI) reports student achievement, attendance, and graduation rates with school and district report cards. You can find the Shawano School District's reports cards at https://apps2.dpi.wi.gov/reportcards/.
DPI also provides a site to explore and compare statistics about student achievement and school information for all Wisconsin's public schools at http://wisedash.dpi.wi.gov/Dashboard/portalHome.jsp.
The federal education law - the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) - requires the identification of the lowest-performing public schools and schools with low-performing student groups in each state. The ESSA identifications can be accessed at apps2.dpi.wi.gov/essa.
The WISEdash Portal for ESSA is located at https://wisedash.dpi.wi.gov/Dashboard/portalHome.jsp?itemlinkid=5155&filtersetid=f4b19165-c7ff-4150-9ffb-eea084524855.
