2020-21 Co-Curricular Code Video
Attention Parents and Student-Athletes
The 2020-2021 school year forms and eligibility video are now available. Each student-athlete and parent/guardian are required to watch the eligibility video and sign all required forms in order to participate in Shawano Athletics for the 2020-21 school year.
Each program will host Parent meetings to address sport specific policies and expectations. All required forms must be on file and verified in the High School office before beginning practice!
AnnouncementAll Eligibility forms must be on file and verified in the High School office in order to receive your permit to practice! The Emergency Medical form (duplicate form) must be picked up in the office. Additionally, academic, age and residency records must be verified in the high school office upon receipt of the above forms. Should you have any questions regarding the video, 2020-21 Eligibility Check List, or any of the eligibility documents, please contact Athletic Secretary, Mrs. Jane Peterson, at 715-526-2175 ext. 8107.
The WIAA will be providing concussion insurance to its member schools beginning August 1, 2017. Student athletes who are injured in practice or play are covered.
1. The insurance will pay for covered charges after the primary insurance has been exhausted.
2. Also, referred to as “secondary policy” – in that it will pay secondary to any primary insurance in place.
3. The insurance will also pay for any covered charges the primary insurance will not cover (including deductibles, co-pays, any other out-of-pocket charges).
