They started with bold, abstract artworks, then added a twist—soap resist techniques and spray paint that brought unexpected textures and vibes to their abstract artworks. 🤩

To put their skills into action, they compared regular and sugar-free gum, measuring mass, sharing data, and calculating averages. 📊
A great mix of math, science, and teamwork in action! 🙌

Over the summer, the SCMS middle school marching percussion instruments were taken in for a complete restoration, and last week, they made their return looking absolutely amazing! 🎶
A huge shoutout to Ms. Silk, our middle school band teacher, for leading the effort and an extra-special thank you to Aaron Wallrich, who dedicated several weeks. with the help of his family, to bringing these instruments back to life. 👏
❤️ The SCMS band can’t wait to show off these beautiful, restored instruments at the Homecoming Parade this fall and you won’t want to miss it!
Funding for this project was generously provided by the Elizabeth Street Business Complex, while the incredible expertise and time commitment came from Aaron Wallrich. THANK YOU! 🙌

On Saturday, our Girl’s Swim Team dove into their season at the Marinette Pentathlon, competing in five events, 50s of each stroke and a 100 Individual Medley. 🙌

Laci competed at the SkillsUSA National Baking & Pastry Arts contest in Atlanta, June 24–27—and absolutely crushed it!
In just 7 hours, she decorated a cake, baked cookies, bread, rolls, eclairs and quiche—and was one of the few to finish everything on time. Out of 35 secondary contestants, she placed 10th in the nation!👏
